Artifex Abrasive Wheels is a polyurethane bond with silicon carbide grain. Ideal for de-burring and light grinding of metals; HP=Hard Compound 3200 RPM, MP=Medium Compound 2550 RPM. Artifex wheels come in 100mm and 150mm. Artifex Wheels come in a range of size, grit and grade of bonding. Elastic Bonded Wheels, Artifex are very popular for engineering and jewellery industry for finishing. Deburring, removing scratches, finishing castings etc. before polishing. They leave a good finish ready for polishing with mops and compound. A bench polisher/grinder using a threaded taper. No compound necessary, grit is impregnated throughout. Used by Jewellers, Silversmiths, Engineers.
