The AuRACLE Electronic Analyser is designed to quickly and efficiently test gold, this tester can test gold from 8ct to 24ct. Simply touch the pen probe to the surface and result is shown in 2 or 3 seconds. This tester has a simple one touch calibration, simply touch a piece of 18ct and the machine will calibrate. As with all gold testers it will only test the surface of the metal, so it is recommended to file away a section to remove any plating or contamination from the surface of the work. The AuRACLE tester can be used with either batteries or using the mains making it perfect to take on the go.

This tester doesn’t use any acids in the probe, it runs on a simple salt solution meaning it is safer to use, in addition to this feature the pen-probe provides up to 6000 tests, to extend the life of the probe it is recommended to replace the cap tightly after every test and replace the probe regularly. This is an American made tester so displays the carat as K. As gold testers only test the surface it is recommended to make sure the work is well filled, to get an accurate reading. In addition is recommended to prime the tip by doing a couple of tests in the same area to get an accurate reading.
