Betts Metals are proud to present the new Durston Large Bench Vice, a strong and dependable workshop vice designed to hold your work securely while allowing you to position it exactly where you need it. Ideal for jewellers, metalworkers, silversmiths and workshop environments, this large bench vice combines stability, ease of use and long-lasting durability.

Manufactured in the UK, the Durston Large Bench Vice is constructed from powder-coated cast iron for maximum strength and resistance to wear. The heavy-duty body ensures excellent stability in use, whilst the powder-coated finish helps protect the vice and maintain its appearance over time.

The swivel base allows you to rotate the vice to the most practical working angle, making it easier to access awkward areas or work comfortably on different projects. Once positioned, the vice can be locked firmly into place using the sliding T-handle locking lever, ensuring a secure hold throughout use.

The jaws are loosened and tightened using the easy-access body handle, offering quick and precise adjustment. With a generous jaw width of 102mm (4") and a maximum opening of 100mm, the Durston Large Bench Vice is suitable for holding a wide range of items securely during filing, sawing, shaping, drilling and general workshop tasks.

An integrated anvil platform provides an additional flat striking surface, making the vice even more versatile for bench work and light forming applications. The base is pre-drilled with four countersunk holes, allowing the vice to be bolted directly to your workbench for a safe and secure installation.
