This Legor Solution is used to remove surface oxides that could affect the plating process, this solution is 100% cyanide free. Most of the common problems in plating are caused by surface oxidisation, the common side effects of this are dullness/lack of shine, cloudy surface and poor adhesion in the final plated results. These problems are commonly experienced with metals with a high content of copper such as low carat gold, silver and brass. This solution is designed to be used a room temperature but is most effective at 25°c for 2.5 minutes.
