Details
Lampert PUKStar electrodes are the newest innovation with in this range of products and replace the Inostar electrodes. These electrodes are particularly well suited to welding with high power. Having the lowest electrode resistance, they provide the greatest power transfer.
These electrodes are made from a new composition of a tungsten alloy to improve strike characteristics. This combined with the optimal shaping of the electrode tip create an enhanced current carrying capacity and longer service life.
Like all electrodes from Lampert, the PUKStar is non-radioactive and is significantly less harmful to the environment than thoriated electrodes frequently used in general welding operations. These are supplied in a pack of 10, 0.6mm x 25mm, these are designed to fit in the standard collet.
These electrodes are also available in 0.8mm and 1mm, both of which would require an additional collet.
